Project Examples
Requirements
Over the Spring 2018 semester, a group of graduate students will spend 30+ hours each conducting media-related research for your organization. Using investigation, analysis, critical thinking, and communication with your team, they will address a unique opportunity that you have presented. The class will work to create a strategic communication plan that will outline and organize the data and present findings in a persuasive, eloquent, coherent manner. A special focus will be made toward the sensitivity to ethical issues associated with social and behavioural research.
Media research can be utilized for long range product and market planning. It assesses the current media mediums being used, the technologies involved, similarities and differences between it and other media vehicles, costs associated, and the overall effectiveness it provides your organization.
Examples of project scopes include, but are not limited to:
- Determining how your customers interact with your current media platforms
- A plan to connect and communicate with your target demographic using ethically associated interactions.
- Mass media analysis to create a social media calendar customized to your organization.
