playtesting pull/merge requests audio transcription user experience (ux) design restful api design elements and principles game testing firebase hypertext markup language (html)We are looking for a developer who will work with Pixels to Players to create a platform to collect player information during game testing. Our goal is to establish a centralized and scalable playtesting program for development teams to do by remote. This includes video recording and audio transcription, form submissions, scoring assessments and data-base management.
This is a continuation of an Alpha version created earlier this year.

Candidates should be familiar with Vue, Javascript, HTML and Firebase. Repository is Github.
The successful candidate will:
- prototype workflow in Figma using UI style features, proper workflow and UX design principles (candidates will be given access to Figma Team Project)
- author customer User Story that addresses game developer testing needs to record a gameplay session (templates provided) // User Stories written and submitted via Google Docs or Word
- write and upload source code for a Recorded Gameplay Test, to the GitHub repository under an MIT License
- follow developer workflow as outlined in our Project Readme (eg. QA branching, Push/Pull Requests)
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project.
We will support interns:
- with weekly check ins and meaningful communication
- by providing resources for product onboarding and knowledge building
- mentorship and access to industry experts for consultation
- co-created tasks that align with personal strengths
