Details

The main goal for the project is to develop a marketing analytics system that pulls data from social media data sources like LinkedIn, X, HubSpot, etc. The system should be automated and end with a PDF/image report in a slack channel on a weekly basis. The system will run some data analysis in a python script on serverless infrastructure like Google Cloud Functions on an hourly trigger. Project team members will have support of team members with python/GCP/data-analysis expertise and will work closely with the head of marketing to select a few metrics for weekly reporting.


Deliverables

- Analyze and understand the requirements for pulling data from social media data sources like LinkedIn, X, HubSpot, etc.


- Develop an automated system that generates a PDF/image report in a slack channel on a weekly basis.


- Implement a python script for data analysis on serverless infrastructure like Google Cloud Functions on an hourly trigger.


- Work closely with the head of marketing to select a few metrics for weekly reporting.



Final deliverables:


- A fully functional marketing analytics system that pulls data from social media data sources, performs data analysis, and generates weekly reports.


- Documentation of the system's architecture, design, and implementation.


- Presentation of the system's capabilities and features to the project stakeholders.


Mentorship

You will be accompanied by VIA's IT team with experience in the technology stack and automation. We work on a daily cycle with stand-ups where team members can raise impediments, receive support and feedback and co-ordinate. All the elements for the project are already at work today at VIA. This project is about using the same tools in a new context: social media data analytics.
