Details

We would like to work with students to develop a Strategic Marketing Plan for our social enterprise startup -

Farmer.Community is a digital peer-to-peer knowledge sharing network for underserved small-scale farmers.

This project will involve research and analysis to identify our ideal customer - sponsor/partner.

In this case. our user and our customer are not the same target market. Our user is a small-scale farmer and our customer is a sponsor or partner.

Our product - the digital knowledge sharing community network - is offered free to our small-scale farmer users.

We are currently looking for a communication / marketing strategy that will identify our ideal customer. To determine who best will financially support (sponsor) our service.

We would be delighted to work with your student team to develop a new Integrated Marketing Strategy to uncover the most suitable "sponsors" to enable us to scale our new Farmer.Community for underserved small-scale farmers.

Deliverables

Students should be prepared to:

  • Review our existing market research/analysis and product user testing
  • develop, write and present strategic marketing plan to support and promote the initial scale of our new social enterprise product launch
  • provide samples and templates for various digital marketing communication materials using a variety of methods and mediums - applying the social enterprise's branding and storytelling
Mentorship
  • Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for virtual sessions to address students’ questions as well as messages over the duration of the project.
  • Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback.
  • Provide relevant information, assets and research as needed for the project. A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the course to review the project scope.
