Data analytic and big data are trending. Many universities and colleges need to teach their students how to use data analytic skills. This requires the availability of data sets.

I am working on developing a web-based application that allows instructors to customize and create their own data sets. The application allows instructors to create a query to be applied on a data set. I need the team to provide a model for building queries that allow the instructor to build whatever query they want. The team has to understand that the instructor can use the data set that they want (which is unknown to us), so they have to think of a way to allow the model to be flexible as possible to allow the instructors to build the query that they want for their selected database.

I have attached several alternatives of an open source code that could provide an insight of what I'm looking for.

I will be working with the team explaining the concept in detail and brainstorming ideas with them.
