In order to better serve our clients, GSE has expanded our service offerings and is at a transformational stage of evolving into a renewable geothermal energy utility company. This means that GSE and our partners will design, build, own, operate and maintain geothermal heating and cooling systems in return for an annual contract fee from the end users. In order to better inform and organize our marketing approach for this new offering, we're looking for a student to help us create a go-to-market strategy template that we can adapt for this and future new offerings.

The two primary goals of this project are to:

  1. Develop a strategic roadmap which identifies various channels to communicate new product offering.
  2. Generate more leads – Multi-unit residential building developers looking to incorporate geothermal energy systems into their development projects -without incurring the expense of constructing the system for themselves.

Tasks for this project may include (but are not limited to):

  • Competitor SWOT analysis;
  • Analysis of product positioning;
  • Market research to identify strategies implemented for similar offerings;
  • Brainstorming to determine creative marketing strategies for this offering;
  • Create Social Media communication and content development road map;
  • Create email/online survey campaign; and
  • Create timeline for customer touchpoints & communication.
