Number of individual students required: Up to 2

HPCO is planning a Virtual Career Fair in May 2021 that would provide a venue for our organizational members to meet with individuals (eg. Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Social Workers etc) interested in working in the hospice palliative care sector. This project focusses on the implementation of the Virtual Career Fair, including providing supporting during the event.

Position Qualifications:

  • Training in human resources management
  • Interest in health care, knowledge of hospice palliative care is an asset
  • Project management training or experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and all management levels
  • Highly motivated and takes initiative, while holding oneself accountable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management and office management skills

Mentorship

Students will report to the Director, Centre for Excellence and meet weekly 1:1. Students will also work directly with the staff team.
