Details

To build out a library of country profiles on religious persecution to serve as a resource for a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to human rights and upholding freedom of religion.

The country profiles would live on the organization's website and provide readers with:

  • an overview of religious persecution and challenges to religious freedom in each country
  • Contextualize in-country situations as unique or part of a broader-regional trend
  • Introduce lesser known religious communities to readers to enrich their understanding of the diversity that exists around the world.
Deliverables
  • Research and source country profiles
  • Look at datasets available to determine best-case examples and identify where more research needs to be done
  • (optional) Conduct original interviews with minorities populations and leaders in their community organizations to inform public education and freedom of religion advocacy efforts
Mentorship

Our agency will work with learners to define research parameters, troubleshoot challenges throughout the project, and help with editing and any graphic/creative design work for the final presentation.

Our team can communicate via email and Google Meet throughout the duration to support learners.
