We currently have a cloud-based application for nurses, physiotherapists, etc, that run their own practice. They use our app daily to manage their business.

We would like to explore through user testing, what users like, what users do not like, what confuses our users, etc. We believe that insights coming out of these experiments will help us design a better product and offer a better experience to our customers.

We would like a group of students to conduct user testing scenarios on our product with a handful of current and potential customers of ours.

This will include:

• Conduct background research on our existing web application.
• Identify key areas of our current product and narrowing down which sections of the product and what scenarios should be tested with the users.
• Learn about various testing techniques that are currently industry standard and learn how to perform them efficiently and capture feedback well.
• Conduct user test scenarios with our product and report results.

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

• Understanding of our existing product porpuses and application
• Conduct user testing scenarios with a real potential users
• Present any findings and provide a detailed written report of methodology, test subjects, tests, and outcomes / insights.

Final deliverables should include

• A final report detailing methodology, test subjects, tests, and outcomes / insights.
• A presentation of the final report

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Current product understanding
• A demo of each feature and its purpose
• Industry-standard testing techniques
