Details

We are a new company introducing a line of BBQ sauces and rubs. The focus will be to provide products that styled after the various regions in the USA (i.e., Texas, Kansas City, Carolinas, etc.). Selling into the food industry is new for us so we want to understand how to best market and sell either in retail or direct to the consumer.

As we suspect that direct sales will be the most effective initially, we would like the students to identify the optimal marketing methods to penetrate the market and our ideal customer base. To do so effectively, we want to know how we can best position ourselves in the market based on our unique product offering.

We are in process building the branding - name, logo, labeling, etc.

We'd like students to help us with market research and recommendations on how we can penetrate the market.

What we want to see is a competitive research, market potential, and marketing recommendations.

Todd and Steve have been business partners and serial entrepreneurs for over 20 years. We are excited about this project and when we were contacted by Riipen, we jumped at the opportunity to work with a group of students like you. This challenge is new for us and we are excited to get started.
