Sisa energy is an innovative energy auditing company with a mission to help reduce greenhouse gases produced by buildings. Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for a web application of our product.

This will involve:

• Conduct background research on our company branding and design schemes.
• Identify key areas of our product and how they might translate to a web application.
• Learn and use various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available.

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

• Familiarize themselves with our existing product.
• Familiarize themselves with a design tool of their choosing and understand how it works. We strongly recommend Figma.
• Design and build inside of the design tool all the needed screens for a web application prototype of our product.
• Present the final design screens to us with the context of all the choices they made, problems they encountered, and the next steps they recommend.

Final deliverables should include:

• The design screens and all assets in a shareable format
• A presentation as stated above of the final designs

• We will provide the student(s) with a complete walkthrough of our current product and business so the student will have the necessary information to succeed in this project
• Student(s) will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

We will also be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Current product understanding
• Industry-standard design tools and applications
• Any sort of branding or styling advice
• Input on choices, problems, or anything else the students might encounter
