project planning copywriting digital storytelling writing editing research storytelling milestones (project management)Storytelling is how people make sense of the world. The techniques and delivery methods of good storytelling may have changed over time, but the power of storytelling moves us and provokes connection.
We would like to work with students to handle the writing/editing and digital storytelling for our Social Enterprise Startup - Carib.Farm.
Students should be prepared to:
- Developing storytelling and writing for our new website
- Prepare project plan, with milestones and timeline
- Journalism tasks such as providing detailed drafts, copywriting, news layout, researching, interviewing, editing in print or online
- Communication tasks in writing, editing, research or a combination of these three
- Define the project scope up front to the best of our abilities, with limited scope changes once students are approved for the project.
- Review student applications and accept or decline applications within 14 days.
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship and supervision to students throughout the project.
- Be available for a discussion with the MacEwan and Level UP team to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope in an appropriate fit for the internship.
- We will have regular bi-weekly virtual meetings with students
