Crowdfunding Campaign - Strategy & Execution

- Pre-launch meetings, campaign strategy, telling a compelling story through the campaign page, and regular engagement throughout the life of the campaign.

- Liaise with Founder in writing a brief strategy statement for Crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising $50k for our new digital community platform.

- Research, develop and secure corporate sponsorships to attain appropriate crowdfunding rewards (gifts) for crowdfunding donors AND Distribute rewards to donors.

- Coordinate with the Founder to create a scaled crowdfunding rewards (gifts) structure for the giving levels of donations ($50 / $100 / $250 / $500 $1000+).

- Develop, manage, track crowdfunding campaign from the start until the end of the campaign via the crowdfunding platform, (TBD).

- Design, create and write timely updates and communications to donors, in conjunction with the Founder.

- Champion the crowdfunding campaign as appropriate across email and all social media channels.

Deliverables

PreLaunch

Three (3) paragraph Crowdfunding Project Strategy Statement - Who? What? When? Why? How?

- up-to-date knowledge on best practices for winning digital crowdfunding campaigns

- Interface with Founder and Community Intern team to ensure campaign is launched in a timely manner and reaches funding goals

- Assist Founder in the coordination to setup accounts/financing to receive funds

- Create a 1-minute Crowdfunding Pitch Video

- Create digital marketing/communications calendar for the crowdfunding campaign

Campaign Launch

Manage and coordinate deployment of the scheduled digital marketing and communications for the crowdfunding campaign

Engage connections regularly through social media, email, the Farmer Community and online events - ask to share

Post Campaign

- Write and deliver a brief message of appreciation to all donors

- Send message updating funders on the success of the project

- All stewardship offerings should be fulfilled within 30 days of completion of the campaign or sooner

Mentorship

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project - implementing "mentor office hours" and a Slack channel for regular team communication.

A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the internship program to review the project scope.

A supervisor will be assigned to the student to provide a performance evaluation of the student.
