While this can enrich workplace culture, it can also lead to misunderstandings and conflicts. Organizations that take a proactive approach to promoting diversity are more likely to benefit from a wide range of knowledge, skills, and perspectives while minimizing potential adverse effects. Students will help your organization ensure well-functioning diverse teams and workgroups through the creation of diversity-related training.
The final project deliverables will include the following:
- A needs assessment and analysis to help your organization better understand team and workgroup-related diversity challenges and opportunities.
- Students will custom design an online team training that meets your organization's diversity-related team and workgroup challenges and opportunities.
