George Brown College’s Graphic Design Program (G102) offers a unique opportunity for 3rd-year students to collaborate with industry professionals on real-world projects. These learners are building foundational skills in design, typography, and multimedia applications while aiming to specialize in areas such as corporate identity, web design, and advertising. This collaboration will not only enhance their practical experience but also allow employers to tap into fresh, innovative perspectives that can benefit their projects. Expectations from the Employer: Employers are expected to maintain regular communication with students, provide clear guidance, and share all necessary information pertinent to the project. They should be virtually present during the final presentation and provide constructive feedback to the student teams via the Riipen platform.
Innovative IT Solutions for Real-World Challenges

Learners in the Computer Systems Technology Program are highly skilled in a variety of IT disciplines, including network security, cloud computing, infrastructure virtualization, database administration, and systems development. They have hands-on experience with Cisco Networking, VMware virtualization, and cloud solutions, and can design, implement, and manage secure, scalable computing systems. With real-world project experience, these learners are prepared to analyze, develop, and deliver IT solutions that meet complex organizational needs. Companies that work with our learners will receive tailored IT solutions aligned with their business needs, whether it involves designing network infrastructures, developing secure systems, or optimizing cloud environments. Learners will collaborate with companies to deliver well-researched, practical solutions based on industry best practices, providing value through technical innovation and problem-solving. C ompanies can expect high-quality deliverables, clear communication, and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle. Learner Capabilities: Designing and implementing secure network architectures, including VPNs, firewalls, and VoIP systems. Developing cloud-based solutions using virtualization technologies, ensuring scalable and secure deployments. Administering servers, including mail server configurations and security protocols. Managing database systems with a focus on optimization, maintenance, and scalability. Analyzing system requirements to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues. Collaborating effectively in teams to manage project timelines, resources, and goals.
Fashion Internships
George Brown College School of Fashion Studies currently has students who are seeking fashion internships. (Remote or In-field opportunities) Students from the following programs are ready to complete 160 or 280 hours with your company: FASHION MANAGEMENT (DIPLOMA) Students have taken courses in visual merchandising, accounting, economics, marketing, adobe illustrator, fabric analysis, as well as basic sewing. INTERNATIONAL FASHION MANAGEMENT (POST-GRADUATE) students have completed courses in International Economics, Trade and Business Law, Global Marketing and Logistics, Business Math, Statistics and Research Methods, Apparel Brand and Licensing Agreements, Project Management, Communication across Cultures and more.

George Brown College’s Sport and Event Marketing graduate certificate program prepares postgraduate students with the strategic skills necessary for impactful careers in sports, arts, entertainment, and non-profit marketing. Our learners possess advanced knowledge in marketing best practices and are eager to apply their expertise to real-world challenges. As part of their curriculum, students must complete a work-integrated learning experience where they apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. They seek to develop skills in creating integrated marketing plans, executing events, analyzing sponsorships, and presenting professional deliverables.
