Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology is Australia’s largest tertiary education provider. Psychology for Your Community

In groups of 3-5, the team will dedicate 120 hours each to the project (360-600 hours). Our students have various skills in the area of psychology including strong; theoretical knowledge base in psychology including brain-behaviour relationships, social/cultural/developmental/personality psychology Social/psychological research and statistical analysis Strong interpersonal skills Analysis and critical thinking insight into mental health and mental health disorders across the lifespan Understanding how patterns of behaviour and habits occur; how to change perspectives and beliefs leading to behaviour change Community engagement
Work-Integrated Learning in Data Analytics - Team project
The project addresses the application of analytics and statistics in a real world situation and is a capstone project for final year Master students. Our students have extensive knowledge in data extraction and preprocessing, data wrangling and exploration, data visualization, machine learning, forecasting, multivariate analysis, quality control and experimental design. Computing skills include querying language (SQL), scripting language (R, Python) & statistical language (R, SAS).
Undergraduate of Information Technology and Computer Science Project (Semester 2 2024)
Students complete hands-on, practical experience developing software and/or delivering IT solutions in a project environment. They will work in teams and complete projects from inception to implementation. Preferred projects are web application development, testing, CMS configuration etc Project requirements: Self-sustained independent projects preferred (not BAU work) Semester 1 starts on 17th July and finishes on 15th October Project description to be reviewed and approved by the academic coordinator The team will be formed based on student interest and skillset Team sizes are 3 -5 Projects are supervised by academics with industry experience Team outcomes will be finalised by the week of 31st July approximately Each student is expected to work 120hrs during the semester on the project Project sponsors are expected to meet with the team regularly (at least 1 hr/week) Please note that your request will not be accepted on Riipen until a student group has been allocated. Students are given the opportunity to submit preferences from July 17th, with partners to be notified if they've secured a group by July 31st. Our students are available for assisting to solve any business problem (internal or external) related to Transportation &/or Freight Logistics. Our students offer recommendations for transportation needs or freight logistics and/or operations or any other related challenge your company may be experiencing or other business improvement outcomes. This course is focused on developing students' understanding of transportation & freight logistics requirements and operations. The course is a popular elective and thus we have students from many disciplines enrolled bringing with them a variety of talents and interests from The Business School of RMIT University. Our campus is based in Vietnam and we are looking forward to working with you online. We will provide a final report for you to use as building your own positive outcome for your project.
