Teacher Health & Wellness Resources

Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. (TCNfi) is a Teacher Health and Wellness nonprofit. We provide teachers with health & wellness resources and support. The main goal of this project is to create 10 health & wellness activities/resources that provide health & wellness resources and support to decrease teacher stress, burnout, and other health issues that are high among teachers. This will involve the following steps for the learners: 1. Research health & wellness issues prevalent among teachers. Note information that would be helpful to share with teachers and strategies to combat the issues. 2. From this information, develop 10 easy-to-implement health & wellness resources to support teachers.

Health & Wellness Presentation Opportunities

Teacher Care Now Foundation is a nonprofit focused on providing teachers with health & wellness resources and support. We want to improve the health & wellness of teachers in order to help them manage the stress, burnout, and other health problems that may come along with their long workweeks and overwhelming responsibilities. In doing this we want to help increase teacher retention and recruitment. Our organization is passionate about promoting health & wellness. We ​​want to increase awareness about our organization and the support that we provide for teachers. We would like to work with students to research potential speaking opportunities (conferences, workshops, events, etc). This will involve the following steps for the students: Familiarizing themselves with our health & wellness cause, our mission and goals. Researching teacher organizations and other possible speaking engagements. Calling school systems and inquiring about speaking opportunities.

Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. (TCNfi) is a teacher health & wellness nonprofit. We provide teachers with health & wellness resources and support to improve their health & wellness, quality of life, and help retain teachers and recruit new teachers to the profession. The main goal of this project is to create online food and nutrition resources and support to help teachers prioritize their health & wellness, with emphasis on: meal prep, nutrition, high-energy meals and snacks, quick, and easy recipes and ideas. This will involve the following steps for the students: - Researching food and nutrition resources and support that would be beneficial for teachers. - Develop 10 food & nutrition resources for teachers.

Teacher Care Now Foundation is a nonprofit focused on providing teachers with health & wellness resources and support. In doing this we want to help increase teacher retention and recruitment. We would like to collaborate with students to develop and distribute a newsletter promoting our cause. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on the cause. Brainstorming sections that each newsletter will include. Developing topics for each issue based on seasonal events. Creating 12 newsletters including materials to be published and making revisions based on feedback. Proofreading drafts of newsletters and recommending areas for improvement. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending other ways to increase awareness about our cause.
