Bio

Santosh Mahapatra has a Ph.D. in Operations and Sourcing Management from Michigan State University. He has more than 21 years of teaching experience in the areas of operations and production management, quality management, and supply chain management. Also, he has 8 years of industry experience. He has a Master in Business Administration, a M.S. in Energy Systems Engineering, and a B. S. in Civil Engineering. His research interests are in the areas of strategic sourcing and procurement, total quality environment management, closed loop supply chains, sustainable and humanitarian operations. He has published in a variety of top tier academic journals and international conference proceedings.
