The Green Room, Fellowship Internship
The Green Room is forming a Youth Advisory Council made up of young adult volunteers who will contribute their perspectives, develop their skills, and help our team better serve youth and young adults in need within our community. Each council member will take on a distinct role and receive hands-on training and guidance from The Green Room team and local experts. Council members will have the chance to propose, participate in, and lead innovative projects that uplift racialized Muslim and newcomer youth in Edmonton. The council will primarily consist of post-secondary students, offering them mentorship, training, and ongoing support from The Green Room. Graphic Design & Marketing Analysis Project for Alvia Systems Inc.
The core goal of this initiative is to furnish graphic design students with an extensive, applied learning experience tailored to marketing and brand analysis within diverse market contexts. Students will engage in a series of projects, each with a unique focus: analyzing podcast marketing through Acast, investigating cities affected by wildfires for targeted marketing, studying regional chalet purchase trends, understanding the demographics of remote homeowners, comparing advertising costs across major platforms like Meta and Google, and ensuring compliance with Quebec's email marketing laws via Mailchimp. For each project component, students will produce a comprehensive report that delves into pricing strategies, demographic impacts, market preferences, and legal compliances. These reports will not only demand creativity but also a strategic understanding of the factors that influence marketing and branding in various scenarios.
