Front end and Backend development
We would like to have an in-house tool to easily keep track of all the data we have collected about each property and perform quick calculation analysis on them. Currently, we have a staff performing the following: Look at each property online on realtor.ca Enter each property interested into a spreadsheet. Enter all the additional information about the property in the spreadsheet. If the additional information includes files, put them in a drive somewhere. Manually do the property analysis calculation on the spreadsheet. This process is very labour intensive and tedious. It would be fabulous if we have a tool that acts as a Property CRM for us to easily keep track of the properties we reviewed, researched and allow us to enter all the additional information associated with the property. The Property CRM project will broken into three separate Riipen projects: Front end development This is the front end to visual the Property CRM It should contain the following components Map view Property details view Add details view All the backend can be stub out. Backend Development This is the backend to for the front end to access It should content the following components Database API Access to Database to store the property data API access for uploading files

Affordable and Sustainable Urban Planning
Housing is a big issue for younger generations. We have heard many young people complaining about the affordability of housing and that they will never be able to buy anything. It’s very true that house prices have surged to a point that it’s extremely difficult for young people to buy one. As soon as they were able to save up some down payment the house prices had gone up again. It’s like trying to chase and get on a speeding train forever. The Jumpstart Home and Community Project is to explore the feasibility of creating affordable homes with sustainability in mind for young people to jumpstart their real estate ownership journey. The project will explore in multiple facets which include urban planning, architecture, landscape, the feasibility with city urban planning, social aspect and sustainability. Is it possible to create a community of smaller detached homes that are cost efficient, environmentally and socially sustainable which the city will support? That is the goal of the project.
