The project involves researching the target audience, selecting appropriate social media channels, and crafting engaging content that aligns with the business's brand identity. Students will also analyze competitors' social media strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation. The project encourages teamwork and creativity, allowing students to implement classroom theories in a real-world scenario.

Earth Studios Brand Identity Development
Earth Studios, a ceramics studio, seeks to establish a cohesive and compelling brand identity that resonates with its target audience. The project aims to create a comprehensive brand identity package that includes versatile brand signatures, print design materials, and social media graphics. The goal is to ensure that Earth Studios' brand is consistently represented across various platforms and media, enhancing its visibility and recognition. The project will involve designing logos in different lockups and variations, creating mock-ups for real-world applications, and developing print materials like posters and brochures. Additionally, the project will focus on crafting social media graphics tailored for platforms such as Instagram. Finally, a detailed brand guidelines document will be created to ensure consistent and appropriate usage of the brand elements.

By analyzing competitors, the project will highlight Earth Studios' unique selling propositions and potential areas for differentiation. Additionally, the project will explore new markets for Earth Studios' products and services, assessing the feasibility and potential impact of entering these markets. The goal is to equip Earth Studios with actionable insights to enhance its competitive positioning and strategic growth. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of market research, strategic analysis, and business development. - Conduct a thorough analysis of Earth Studios' current competitors in local and tourism arenas. - Identify and evaluate potential new markets for Earth Studios' products. - Provide strategic recommendations for market positioning and expansion.

Tourism Strategy Development
We are interested in promoting our tourism market for our business. However, we are facing challenges streamlining 4 separate website offerings into one hub. We are interested in building ceramic immersion experiences for visitors using the ARTS as a gateway for experiences. We would like to collaborate with students to tell our community’s story in new ways and attract more tourists. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on our town and its history as the #1 Arts town in Canada. Identifying the customer personae of prospective visitors and their travel journeys. Identifying attractive experiences and interpretive narratives to build out itineraries: .ie: weekend getaway packages, week long immersion with inner muse, art month creative sanctuary! Recommending revisions to incorporate storytelling within our existing promotional materials. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Revising our current materials to include effective storytelling.
