Peqish Culinary Medicine Health Promotion Campaign Plan
According to the Lancet, one of the most respected medical journals in the world, poor quality diets are deemed to be a greater risk to human welfare than unsafe sex, drugs, alcohol and tobacco use combined ( Willett et al (2019) Lancet 393:447-492 ). Food-related illnesses are on the rise and their impact on the well-being of humanity is growing. It’s time for change. Our vision is to enable healthier, happier, and longer lives. Peqish creates innovative foods by leveraging their 25+ years in the healthcare industry together with the extensive hands-on clinical experience and knowledge base of the company’s health and wellness advisory team, along with top culinary acumen. It’s food created by doctors and chefs! Peqish’s offerings of sandwiches, salads, wraps and baked goods are nutritionally dense, convenient, intended to be of ideal portion size, and personalized to accommodate various dietary restrictions based on clinical and/or personal choices. Our organization wants to further our efforts to increase awareness about food-related illnesses. We would like to work with students to develop a campaign that successfully raises awareness and changes behaviour around this health topic, specific to our target demographics. In collaboration with key contacts at our organization, students will design and carry out a campaign strategy around this health topic. Identify groups which this campaign will target. Identify relevant social media influencers. Identify ideal outcomes and KPIs. Include the latest and most accurate data and information. Design leaflets, posters, videos, and/or brochures. Resources Anything required to assist in the completion of the collaboration
