The Community Learning Adult Student Society - Lac La Biche & District aims to enhance the learning experience for adult learners by providing mentorship and tutoring in basic digital technology, English speaking, reading, and numeracy skills. The project involves student participants working closely with adult learners and staff to facilitate skill development in these areas. The primary goal is to empower adult learners by improving their foundational skills, enabling them to engage more effectively in their personal and professional lives. Student participants will also assist in tracking the learners' progress on their individualized learning plans, ensuring that each learner receives tailored support and guidance. This project provides an opportunity for students to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, fostering both academic and personal growth. Task One - Meeting with staff and learner(s) to set goals. Help record on learner plan. Set times and place for tutoring or mentoring. Estimate the number of hours requited to master learning goals.
