Fundraising Planning for Annual Event
Our organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges. We would like to collaborate with students to plan a fundraising event to help meet our goals. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Estimating and establishing the budget of the fundraising event. Creating a plan of action and a detailed list of organizations to approach for sponsorship. Assisting in contacting organizations for sponsorship either by telephone or email. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending improvements for future fundraising of events.
Grant Writing
Our organization is interested in supporting social causes within the disability community. We have an annual event to support and create awareness for the disability community, however, we are currently facing funding challenges. We would like to collaborate with students to find and complete grant applications. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our vision statement and a project we have defined. Developing a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding. Identifying potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project. Assist in writing and improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Identifying new opportunities for community projects. Completing some of the grant applications.
Community Event Planning
Our organization is committed to supporting the local disability community. However, we are currently facing challenges with manpower to create the vision for our second annual event - The Beyond Barriers Networking and Tradeshow, that will be held on September 21, 2024. We would like to collaborate with students to plan an event to help meet our goal of supporting and creating awareness for the disability community. The role takes a proactive approach to the planning, delivery, and administrative responsibilities necessary to support the tactical implementation of the event. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Estimating and establishing the budget of the event. Assisting in creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks to complete at the event. Assisting in marketing and promoting our event. Assisting in the process of planning the event with other event team members from the volunteer event team. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending improvements for future events.
Website Enhancements and Administration
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to upgrade the current company website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tool using WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching popular websites (top 20) that are engaging and enticing to its audiences. Conducting an analysis to determine the design of the new website. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
Beyond Barriers Awareness Campaign Plan
Our vision and mission is promoting social causes. We want to increase awareness and provide resources for those with limitations and barriers. We would like to work with students to design a campaign that raises awareness of an event bringing organizations together that serve this demographic. In collaboration with us and key contacts, students will design and carry out a campaign strategy around this event. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with local organizations that support our cause, our mission and goals. Identifying groups that the campaign will target and can collaborate with. Identifying potential sponsors and partners who can support our campaign. Creating a promotion and marketing plan. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Assisting in the development of leaflets, posters, videos, and / or brochures. Providing input and suggestions.

iListen Social Media Marketing Strategy
The main goal of this project is to create a comprehensive social media marketing strategy to help build an online presence for iListen. This will involve creating and promoting multiple forms of content, such as videos, blog posts, and podcasts, to reach a wider audience.
iListen Website Redesign
The main goal of the project is to conduct an effective website redesign to improve both the website’s functionality and its looks. The redesign should address the website’s content, user experience, SEO practices and mobile optimization. The purpose of website redesign is to increase leads and sales. Converting visitors – either into promising leads or actual sales – is the primary goal of every website. A redesign will give me the opportunity to ensure my website is optimized to move visitors through the sales funnel, converting as many leads and/or sales as possible.
Video Marketing Strategy
iListen (company) is looking to market its service by building a video marketing strategy that will contribute to increased engagement on digital and social channels, and reach larger audiences. The video marketing strategy would is for educating, generating leads, and converting customers. iListen has been at a standstill with customer leads, mainly due to this type of service being a new niche and public misunderstanding of what type of service iListen provides. This is apparent when we have tried to market at network events and tradeshows. iListen believes with a video marketing strategy as a new approach the audience may better understand what the company is all about.
Scripting & Performance
Our organization wants to create a video to raise awareness of the importance of listening as an important communication skill. We would like to collaborate with students to help us create awareness of the International Day of Listening through this video. Based on our desired outcomes, we would like to collaborate with students to record a professional video.
