Creating HR Job Descriptions & On-boarding Materials

BUS-2298

Sep 4, 2024 - Dec 5, 2024

In this opportunity, Business Administration students from Lethbridge College are looking to create HR job postings for your organization. Students from our program want to work with your company to create job descriptions for new and existing positions. Our students are equally capable of working on a specific aspect of the HR process (anything from job descriptions to pay considerations) or end-to-end postings. Our students are trained in a variety of techniques and activities utilized in acquiring, developing and maintaining a highly effective workforce. Concretely, they have learned about all aspects of hiring, for details see the next section. Students are able to incorporate and operate effectively in light of various environmental challenges such as government policies, demographic trends, and organizational trends.

Journalism related-projects

DCM2251

Jan 8, 2021 - Apr 13, 2021

As the ways we share and digest information and entertainment change, so do the traditional mediums we rely on. But in the evolving world of media and communications, one thing is certain: no matter how it is delivered, content is key. The importance of social media has grown and communications jobs have blossomed. What we are finding now is journalism, corporate communications, photography and graphic production are crossing over more than ever before. Thus, we have developed the next evolution of the program to recognize industry needs. In this project, a student-writer will create an unbiased well-researched news story and/or an infographic for your organization, focused on online or print media.
