PROJECT SCOPE We are seeking for students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector, particularly focusing on the finance, insurance, and technological field. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization and what AlStar expects for the articles. Students who are punctual, organized, motivated, ambitious & looking to grow, and demonstrate integrity & willingness to help others will be evaluated & considered for further employment opportunities. Ultimately, you will be working on written content creation for the organization that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Students or teams with excellent writing skills and business acumen would be the ideal candidate for this project. We are a boutique advisory and consulting firm that is looking to enter the Mergers & Acquisitions market in a bigger way. We are ready to take our business to the next level! Our company requires some assistance in assessing the current and future potential for mergers and acquisitions in the British Columbia and Ontario geography. We want to learn more about customer’s expectations and behaviours in suggested new regions and markets. It is important for us to stay up to date on industry standards to ensure that we research new locations fully and completely before choosing to enter. . Our specific need is an outline of our industry’s expansion opportunities in the private sector. This report should include an optimal location recommendation list. To consider: which markets align with our current one? What markets can we own? What markets are untapped? Who is being underserved? Where are there clients that we have yet to reach? Number of individual positions: 3 We would like to take on a student to help us fill out our data base that tracks key metrics about companies that operate in the insurance industry. We want to know things like: what part of the insurance industry companies take care of, what partners these firms have in insurance, etc. Through a deep dive of our industry/market, we hope to identify key market trends to assist in our go-forward plans. We want to look at for trends. It is important for us to know where the most promising innovation exists or which areas are slowing down, so that we can act accordingly. We believe that there is enough industry data available to complete a study of our sector. It would be extremely helpful for a student group to look at our industry, identify key trends of growth, stagnation and decline. We are open to all information that seems appropriate and valuable. Using these findings, we would like a detailed and researched report on the market trends that will mean the most to the future of our business.

Spanish Translation of Technical Documents (Level Up Approved)
Axis Forestry Inc. is about to launch our own brand of tree processor, called the Rebel (tree processors fell trees, delimb them and then cut them to length for transport to the sawmill). Our team knows that many tree processor operators speak Spanish and may struggle with technical documents written in English only. We want our new machines to be accessible for Spanish-speaking individuals by translating written technical documents and how to guides into Spanish.

We would like students to help us with creating digital marketing content in the form of blog articles, social media posts and email newsletter copy. The articles and other content will be based on topics we will provide for you. These will cover a broad range of subjects related to our niche of RVing, light truck parts and accesspries, camping and boating. They could be related either to the parts we sell or to the recreational/outdoor lifestyle and related activities. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. In addition to the articles, social media posts will need to be provided to promote the article. Finally, we require copy to be written for our email newsletters.
