PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Octaza Marketing is a start-up marketing and business development firm. Its founder, Marie-Elyse Forget is also a lecturer in university. Our organization needs some branding and graphic design help! We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better messaging for our brand. This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for better promotion and brand awareness. This project may combine research, data analysis, graphic design w/ Sketch or Adobe XD, prototyping, one-page creations and more! HOW MANY STUDENT INTRAPRENEURS WILL THIS PROJECT ACCOMMODATE?/DE COMBIEN D’ÉTUDIANTS AVEZ-VOUS BESOIN POUR EXÉCUTER CE PROJET? 3 (2 students in marketing, 1 student graphic and infographic design) TIME COMMITMENT PER STUDENT/TEMPS DE TRAVAIL PAR ÉTUDIANT: [ please indicate either 30 hours, 50 hours, or 70 hours/veuillez indiquer 30, 50 ou 70 heures]: 40 KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES/TÂCHES ASSOCIÉES AU PROJET: We believe this project will require: Research to define our unique brand position and create consistent promotional messaging Put together a branding guide, brand book including the company's mission, values and examples of messages they could be sending. Improve current logo and pictogram that highlights brand awareness and brand positioning Create visual branding elements to be used in material (patterns, footer, header, etc.) Improve look of website (Wixx) Create a template for proposals and paperwork IDEAL ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES/RÔLES/RESPONSABILITÉS:* Please note appropriate projects can accommodate most students, regardless of field of study or experience. Octaza Marketing - Business Development initiative

We are looking for a group of students to work on a business development initiative to push summer trainings. The primary project requirements include: Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization A strategy document to outline: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site Creating engaging content for prominent media websites Working with tools and programs such as Wixx, Facebook and LinkedIn. FINAL DELIVERABLES We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm but also execute a strategy to achieve: Optimal SEO Engaging content for a few months This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
